Ms. Irish Cabigon

Irish Pakilit Cabigon is an accomplished finance professional with a robust background in management and accounting. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Commerce, majoring in Management Accounting, in 2004. Currently, Ms. Cabigon holds the position of Finance Manager at South Pacific Academy, located on Airport Road, Tafuna, American Samoa.

Ms. Cabigon brings a wealth of experience from her previous role as an Overseas Filipino Worker, where she spent eight years as a Supply and Distribution Manager for two of the largest canning companies in Papua New Guinea—Nambawan Seafoods PNG Limited and Frabelle PNG Limited. During her tenure, she enhanced her expertise by attending British Retail Consortium (BRC) and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) training courses, further solidifying her proficiency in supply chain management and quality control.

Before her international experience, Ms. Cabigon served as a Budget and Inventory Associate at Gensan Shipyard and Machine Works, Incorporated, a renowned shipbuilding and ship repair company in the Philippines, from 2014 to 2016. Her earlier career includes a role as an Accounting Representative at Ocean Canning Corporation from 2010 to 2013, and prior to that, she was a Purchasing Associate at General Tuna Corporation/Century Tuna, the largest canning company in the Philippines, located in her hometown.

Ms. Cabigon’s diverse experience across various industries and her dedication to continuous professional development make her an invaluable asset to South Pacific Academy, where she continues to contribute her financial expertise and leadership.
