Julia Stowers Seanoa graduated from Nu’uuli Vocational Technical High School. While working as a teacher’s aide in Manumalo, Stowers had the opportunity to study at the American Samoa Community College, majoring in Education from 2015 to 2016. Stowers aims to further her studies and obtain a Bachelor’s Degree in Education. During her time at Manumalo Academy, she worked with elementary students from 1st grade to 3rd grade. After school, she provided tutoring for students who needed extra help with math and reading. Stowers also interned at the American Samoa Barstow Library, where she assisted students with projects and reading. She found great enjoyment in working with students and helping them in any way she could. Notably, she was selected to be one of the teachers for the ASIA (Aoga Samoa i Alalafaga) program held by the Department of Education (DOE). In 2021, Stowers began working as a History Teacher for Middle School at the South Pacific Academy. Currently, she is a teacher’s aide for 1st grade, and she is dedicated to nurturing and supporting students in achieving their goals.
