Marc Vincent Lansang earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southeastern Philippines and obtained his Electrical Engineer’s License in 2018. For three years, he honed his expertise in the Philippines as a Site Engineer and Project Engineer. During this time, Marc developed a deep understanding of construction processes and strengthened his leadership skills, successfully guiding his teams to achieve various project goals.

In 2023, Marc relocated to American Samoa to join his father, who worked as a tailor on the island. He spent a year contributing his expertise to a local construction firm, where he adapted to the island’s work culture and further broadened his professional experience.

Marc’s passion for learning and desire to make an impact led him to explore teaching. Transitioning from the engineering field, he now shares his knowledge by teaching high school mathematics, including Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus. His real-world experience in applying mathematical concepts brings a unique perspective to his classroom, helping students understand the practical applications of math in everyday life.

Committed to inspiring his students, Marc strives to break the stigma around mathematics by making it more approachable and engaging. Through his teaching, he aims to foster a positive attitude toward math, encouraging students to see it as a valuable and enjoyable subject. Marc’s dedication to excellence, both in engineering and education, reflects his belief in the power of learning to transform lives.
