Mr. Ron Luardo

Ron Luardo graduated with an Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts in December 2014 from the American Samoa Community College. He then earned a Bachelor of Science in Sociology with a minor in Interdisciplinary Studies in August 2019 from Texas A&M University-Commerce. Additionally, Luardo has maintained a pristine academic record as a member of the National Society of Leadership & Success.

In 2020, Luardo returned to American Samoa and became a Mathematics Teacher for 10th, 11th, and 12th-grade students at Samoana High School. He has taken up additional roles and responsibilities at Samoana High School such as being part of the Tech Team, a National Honor Society board member, Co-Advisor of the International Student Organization, and an Assistant Coach for the Junior Varsity Boys Basketball team from 2021-2022.

In November 2023, Luardo was given the opportunity to become an Academic Counselor for South Pacific Academy and teach the College Preparatory Course for 11th-grade students. Luardo created a curriculum to educate students on how to prepare for college, military, and the workforce, what to expect after graduating high school, and help them create a plan to achieve their future goals. Moreover, he developed a standard operation procedure for student referrals and disciplinary student behavior to assist teachers and staff.

In the upcoming academic year, Luardo will not only be the School Counselor but also a Mathematics Teacher for the Senior Academy at South Pacific Academy.
